Nao's hair...

  • Jul. 1st, 2006 at 8:24 PM

I personally believe that Nao's hair is dyed to that colour... given her personality and whatnot... it's possible I think... originally...

hmm... I'm guessing she'd be a ... green head

no, no... maybe black hair like most asians. :p (a lot of bleaching to get it that pink...)

Cooking in Classical Music

  • Jun. 28th, 2006 at 9:58 AM

Ok, this is going to be asian mean but I couldn't help it. yesturday, a friend and I were walking to dinner and we started to talk about what sort of music she likes. The thing is, my friend is from China with some chinese accent. (It's not her fault, she came not too long ago but damn it, she can swear and talk like an American... and that's the disturbing part... skinny asian chick with a thick chinese accent talking like your average north american with all the right slangs and crap like that)

Anyways, she listed classical music as one of her favourite genres and listed Bach and Chopin as her favourite composers. However...

Bach became batch (muffins anyone?)
Chopin became choppin (like slice and dice your chop suey good choppin)

I dunno why but it was really hard not to burst out laughing. (I didn't though... I'm not that mean)

ok... I must be bored

  • Jun. 26th, 2006 at 1:37 AM

considering I just keep posting... I must be bored...

anyways, I've been thinking for some time but it'd be fun (circumstances to be decided later) if Shizuru reverted to her younger self (like....5-8 years old. I remember reading a fic about Natsuki becoming a kid again... just thought the opposite would be great too). It'll definitely let Natsuki understand Shizuru much better... also a chance to really take care of Shizuru for a change... and most importantly... little Shizuru~~~~~ :DDDDDDDDDD I've never thought of myself with lolita complex but if it's Shizuru... I'll definitely make the exception. (on a side note, I've never understood the appeal of those body pillows... but once again, IF IT'S A SHIZURU BODY PILLOW)...

YOU ARE A SINFUL WOMAN SHIZURU~~~~

ok. I'm done fangrrling today.

Uncapitalism in Capitalism

  • Jun. 25th, 2006 at 10:55 AM

I went to rent a new apartment today because my sister hates the place where we're currently living in... SO, at this new place, I saw a great flat that I really like. When I asked for an application, I got this LONG piece of paper that basically wanted my economic life's history there.

THEN, she asked for a co-signer because both my sister and I are students. My dad is in Toronto so asking him to take a 2hr drive JUST TO SIGN A FUCKING PIECE OF PAPER when it could be done by fax is not going to appeal to him.

The main problem here? This is Canada, part of North America, where capitalism reigns supreme aka MONEY RULZ YOUR ASS. The ONE time when I have no problem with capitalism is the ONE time when I get screwed over. I can pay my fucking rent so gimme the fucking place! get with the cap program woman! (not to mention her attitude was not something to be savoured)

Just to get it out of the way

I just wanted to establish that I AM A SHIZURU FAN. So technically speaking, I'm not a ShizNat fan. Natsuki is only in my equation because she has very high potential of making Shizuru happy despite some... flaws. And they have good dynamic together.

So there.

Cake

  • Jun. 22nd, 2006 at 9:30 AM

I found this recipe online to make this vegan cake (so I'm no cooking master... just good at following instructions) I'm not vegan or vegetarian but the restaurant that I work at is and I wanted to find a few new things that they could potentially sell... more customers = more tips for Seravy. very direct relationship. and damn it... who knew that cake without eggs or any dairy product could be so damn good! It was really moist and dense... then I made this chocolate tofu pudding... I thought it'd be pretty bad since it had so much tofu (and tofu is such a personal preference thing) but GEEEZ... I used the pudding as a sort of mousse/topping for the cake and I am in chocolate heaven.

here are the recipes if anyone is interested. I got it from www.vegetarian.allrecipes.com.
